The Samsung omnia 7 is a smart phone manufactured by Samsung and it runs on Microsoft windows operating system. It is also known as SGH-I8700. The phone supports windows phone 7.8. It was released in 2010 and it was one of the earliest windows phone manufactured by Samsung.
The Samsung Omnia 7 features a Qualcomn Snapdragon QSD8250 Soc at 1GHz. It has a 4 inch huge screen. The screen is Super Amoled and the resolution is 480 x 800. The phone has an internal memory of 8 GB or 16 GB. Unfortunately the phone has no microSD slot for external storage. It makes you limited to the internal storage only. This phone was not released all across the world, don’t know why. It was available in South Africa, Europe and may be in United States.
The mobile comes with a 5 megapixel camera. 5 megapixels was a huge amount in 2009 and 2010. It also has a secondary VGA camera that allows you to make selfies easily. The camera also allows you to record HD videos.
At that time there were few phones that come with a 3G technology. The 3G technology allows you to browse quick and fast.
Overall it is a nice phone. It has the entire thing that you need including email, 3G, camera etc. The windows lovers simply loved this phone. It has an excellent rating. 85% of the people who used it gave it a 5 star. There was a little problem with the update of the operating system in 2011 but it was soon resolved.
The price of this phone is almost 777 USD. This is a correct amount if we consider the release date and the features of the phone.
